I did think about you a few times each ……. I thought of the nickname I hope to call you in the near
future. Hope that you had a restful holiday weekend with a good Bible discussion Saturday afternoon. I
hope that someone in the group will find my new home.

Saturday morning, I watched the following Internet programs. Did you know that there are more people
in China know English as a second language than number of citizens in the USA? Did you know that
Paul’s epistles are arrange in the Bible by size, largest to the smallest? Did you know the old Roman
Roads led to the distance between the rails for USA railroads?

Then I found myself compiling the following from two files. I had developed several MS Word
documents to put in frequent or/and good information quotes to use in my e-mail and blogging ministries.
The “0-- Personal Information” document has even my address and phone number, even though I share
such to close friends. Then I have other MS Word documents titled as follows: “0-- miscellaneous
frequent quotes”, “0-- miscellaneous spiritual quotes”, “0-- miscellaneous secular sayings”. And the
results were full of blessings for me. I put each of them in a logical order.

Sunny and I again also enjoyed a lot of Christian music during the weekend. Dolo came for two folding
chairs. I found out why: for her and my replacement to use when watching the Shootenfest 4 hour parade.

I had first started using humyo.com about a year ago, but I did not have secretarial help to keep the
folders updated. I plan to rarely add to my collection from now on because there is so much good
information already and many of the secular news seems to be repetitive. Like someone said “There is
nothing new under the Sun.” But what is the Sun is not visible on a cloudy day or stormy day?

I just realized on Sunday morning, some of the walk Roland and I did came back to the apartment. I
thought I had been careful where I walked in order to avoid deposits made by dogs and horses. Well my
shoes had a lot of grit sand on the bottoms. Very hard to wash and scrub off. But can you see a spiritual
application of that happening? So I had to wear the newer black shoes for church to go with my navy
blue pants and my red, white, and blue shirt of vertical stripes with white being the thickest stripes. I took
some of the food that Roland gave me for the lunch after Church. Church started late because it took all
day for a crew to help Pastor George change apartments. The worship was not inspiring this time, so I
did a lot of intercessory praying especially for peace in the USA today. Did you know that many
commentators etc. are encouraging everyone to read the Declaration of Independence? Attached is proof
that even the liberal LA Times did such and was linked from the Drudgereport website. Pastor George
again emphasized the importance of focusing on the Bible and Holy Spirit guidance. He said that we
should live only according to God’s Word and Holy Spirit guidance. He said it is the only way we can
live longer lives. I guess his serious family problem has made him realize that his charismatic spiritual
emphasis previously was wrong. He likes to make statements for Amens, so he talked quite a lot before
going to the first Scripture reading.

Philippians 2:13
“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.”
Then the Holy Spirit had me go to Ephesians 1:3-5 & 9.
“3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;
4 according as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5 having predestined us to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
9 having made known to us the mystery of His will,
according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,”

Then Pastor George went on about living by the Holy Spirit and the just mentioned had be go to the
following that supported what he was saying:
12 Therefore, brethren [and sisters], we are debtors--
not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
13 For if you live
according to the flesh
you will die;
but if by the Spirit
you put to death the deeds of the body,
you will live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
these are sons [and daughters] of God.
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear,
but you received the Spirit of adoption
by Whom we cry out, “Abba, Father”.
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit
that we are children of God,
17 and if children, then heirs--
heirs of God and
joint heirs with Christ,
if indeed we suffer with Him,
that we may also be glorified together.
1 John 2:15-17
“15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of The Father is not in him [or her],
16 because all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh,
and the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life,
is not of The Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passes away,
and the lust of it,
but he [or she] who does the will of God
abides forever.”

Ephesians 5:8-17
“For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in The Lord;
walk as children of light
(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
proving what is acceptable to The Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather reprove them.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light:
for whatsoever does make manifest is light….
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Wherefore be not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”

Then Pastor George referred to the following well known verses:

Hebrew 4:12
“For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the dividing apart
of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
“16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the adopted child of God may be perfected,
thoroughly furnished to every good work.”
Romans 12:1-2
“1 I beseech you therefore, brothers [and sisters], by the mercies of God
to present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.

And his final challenge was indicated by this verse--

Philippians 2:16
“holding forth the Word of Life,
so that I may rejoice with you in the day of Christ,
that I have not run in vain nor labored in vain.”
I noticed the verses before too:
“12 Therefore, my beloved,
as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only,
but now much more in my absence,
cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling.
 13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings,
15 so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons [and daughters] of God,
without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation.
Among these you shine as lights in the world,

After the service and snack, Danara said the papers I received from the Job Service indicated that he
should make an appointment with Mr. Möller again and the bank to open my account. I should money
soon. And I got a ride to near my temporary abode and thus saved 2, 05 Euro (the price of a Zone 1
tram/bus ticket.
