2 - Bible Study About Worship - Short Version
2 - Bible Study About Worship - Short Version
Introduction: When I received this assignment two months ago, I wondered why since I did not have anything to
do with the worship teams in the church I currently attend. But worship actually should result after
being filled with the Holy Spirit, is important in sanctification, and is important in understanding
Revelation. Also, my best days have been when a worship song or two just keep repeating in my
soul for a good period of time. Divine peace and joy usually have been given to me during those
times too. But what prevents us from having such times? Maybe this study will help you answer
that question. Also what idols do many Christians worship currently instead of just God? What
activities or thinking prevents you from thinking about, thanking, and communing with God?
Why does God deserve our worship or why should we worship Him as often as possible?
Jesus Christ said that the greatest commandment is “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).” (Matthew 22:36)
Note: For the rest of this collection of Scripture, which verses and passages were just for certain individuals or just for
the Israelites, and which are for the New Covenant Christians? I did not do a search on the verses with “praise”
and “praising”; that would probably result in another 40 pages.
