Special Education; was assigned to "high needs" room for 2 years. During that time, I assisted classroom teacher with
Students who were assigned to me individually based on each ones IEP. All of whom were identified with a
Developmental Disability. Each student had an individual learning curve, to which I implemented and maintained a
Structured classroom routine. Duties also included diapering, lifting and feeding where necessary. I administered
Student medication as prescribed. Maintained written daily journal of student progress, kept parents informed in all
Areas of delay/progress. Assisted students with all facets of instuctional/Educational/ and life skills support. In the
Next 4 years, I was assigned to mainstream classroom, for students who stuggled in one/two subjects. I would give
Individualized support to each based on educational needs.
