Ellie: Music has influenced many people through the decades and
through the growth of young people in Britain. Music has become a big
part of youth culture today and we are asking the question today, how
does music define you?

Becky: The 1960s had a big influential impact on the youth culture in
Britain in the 60s and is still a very iconic era today. Many well known
artists such as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones were very popular in the
60s and are still just as popular today (Include facts and figures)

THE 1980S

The most popular genre in the 80s was dance as it was seen emerging and so was
new wave. As disco fell out of fashion back in the early years, genres such a post
disco and dance pop became more popular. Rock music continued to enjoy a wide
audience across Britain.
