Week 7: Conclusion Help

Week 7: April 9 April 15

Conclusion: This is the final week of the class, and, as we conclude, we are turning our
concentration to a more sustained effort at developing our creativity. We should reflect on what we
have done so far in the class through our "reflection" writing, which gives everyone a chance to
examine how the effort in creativity can be carried to everyday life, looking for other opportunities to
be purposely "different". Note that this will not be peer evaluated but will be reviewed by the teaching
staff. We're also compiling examples of some of the best work we've seen in the class; see the
Forum for more information. And there are a few wrap up and forward looking videos to view this
week as well. This week will look at applying new creativity skills in real life; talk a little about truths
and myths of left & right brain thinking, and area of research that continues to evolve; do a general
review and connection with other fields. You should still use the Originality Engine for testing your own
creativity, which now includes the capability to compare the results of your drills over the term.

Homework, due Tuesday, April 15, 23:59 PM CDT(-005) : complete reflection essay.

Note on grading for DSD 6 and the reflective essay: submissions are required for both; peer evaluations for DSD
6 are optional. Both of these assignments will be evaluated by the instructors.
