Log on to Development system client 000 to run SFW5 transaction.

A warning message prompts. Choose continue


Expand the Enterprise Extensions to select the extension set for activation. For example EA-PLM.

In the SFW5 screen those Enterprise extensions which are already activated are displayed in yellow
coluor and those not yet activated are displayed in grey colour.
Check impact of activating EA-PLM by right click on the EA-PLM and select impact analyzer.

Return back from the impact analyser result screen to SFW5 screen. Then select EA-PLM and click on
check changes button to check if any errors can occur. Check result is displayed on the status bar.
Select the check box for the Business function to be activated.

Then activate EA-PLM by click on Activate Changes button.


A back ground job is triggered to activate the EA-PLM
Monitor the job in SM37
After the job is executed successfully the EA-PLL extension set is switched on
Click save.

TO Activate Extension sets in Quality and production systems follow the below steps:

Log on to Development system client 000 to generate a transport request. Run SFW5 and Expand the
Enterprise Extensions tree to check the activated extension sets.
Those extension sets with yellow colour bulb are activated in the RED system.

Execute Tx: sfw5 and Click on continue


Expand: ENTERPRISE_EXTENSIONS and select on EA-PLM
Now click on system settings Menu and transport option with in the menu.Choose new request

Request released REDK902677 in RED/000 client
Login REQ/000 client import request: REDK902677 to get the extension set Activation (EA-PLM)
Login REP/000 client and import request in REP/000
Enter a description
Data will be saved to transport request. Go to SE01 to release the transport request.
Transport is displayed in SE01 as:
Release transport request.
Transport request is available in import queue for import
Import request into REQ system and check for the request in the REQ buffer. This request shall be
imported into REQ once only as this client independent.
Choose the request and import
