Children can enter to win at the Prizepalooza to score awesome
games, toys, crafts and even an off-campus lunch with Mrs. Katt
and Mrs. Chenault! Write your name, grade level, and teachers
name on your event ticket and place your ticket in a bucket to
enter for a chance to win the prize. Enter as many tickets as you
wish!

Prizepalooza closes at 2:15 pm. Winners will be announced at 3:00

pm. Winners may claim prizes at back door of gym at 3:00 pm.

Does your teacher sleep at school? Raise enough money and your Forest Ridge
teachers will be sent to a rooftop slumber party. Raise even more money and Mrs.
Katt and Mrs. Chenault will join their teachers for a night of slumber on the Forest
Ridge rooftop! Teachers will put on their fun pajamas and "camp out" at school for
the night. All money collected from this event will go to Betty Sue Creech
Elementary as they continue to rebuild as a school following Hurricane Harvey.

Forest Ridge students please bring spare change and maybe even a few dollar bills
to drop in the designated jar to raise the roof on this exciting challenge. As
the mark on the thermometer rises with your donations teachers will have to make
up a dance and perform it in their pj's, rewrite and sing "Up on the Rooftop" for the
school; eat some yucky snacks; have a pillow fight; sleep in the courtyard, gym or
on the roof; etc...As donations come in and the thermometer rises you will
determine just what teachers must do at the "in tents" night at the school. If we
meet our goal of $3000, a video of the slumber party events will be shown to
students in a celebration party during PE the following week.

Save your change now and be ready to put it in the jar for Camping with a
Cause. I don't know about you, but we can't wait to send Forest Ridge teachers,
your principal and assistant principal to the roof in their jammies! A ton of pennies
for this cause will give us all a ton of laughs and will help the teachers and students
at Betty Sue Creech Elementary in Katy ISD.

Who Runs the School? Falcons!
For one day, a group of Forest Ridge Falcons will help run the school!
The highest bidder on each of the following positions gets to do that
job, instead of being a student, for the ENTIRE day. Date: TBA

Receptionist: Work alongside Mrs. Falco and help her man the front
desk, answering calls and helping teachers and the office staff.

Counselor: Work with Mrs. Hord assisting Falcons with reading,

providing guidance lesson stories, and making sure everyone gets
safely to their classrooms in the morning. You also get to work lunch
duty!

Nurse: Work with Nurse Paull and help keep our Falcons healthy. No
shots will be given or received in this role! Whew! Date: TBA

Attendance Clerk: Work alongside Mrs. Roper to ensure that all of

our Falcons are in attendance at Forest Ridge. Date: TBA

Principals Secretary: Work alongside Ms. Grant for the day. Wear a
headset and answer calls, deliver messages to Mrs. Katt and take
care of the teachers needs. Date: TBA

Assistant Principal: Assist Mrs. Chenault as she helps Mrs. Katt run
Forest Ridge! You will help with welcoming Falcons in the morning,
communicating with teachers and Mrs. Katt (you get to wear a radio
monito), operating fire drills, visiting classrooms, and ensuring that the
school runs smoothly and is a safe and happy place!

Principal: Help Mrs. Katt run the school. You will almost be in charge
for the day! You will assist with morning and afternoon duty, lead the
morning announcements on the intercom, wear a radio, monitor the
classrooms, and basically be the top dog for the day!
