Job Description: China HR Manager

The Company:

Job Purpose:
The China HR Manager will be responsible for leading and developing HR strategies, managing the HR
functions in China, driving both local and global HR initiatives and ensuring compliance of HR activities to
the Company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Develop effective working relationships and influence, challenge and advise line managers on
development and delivery of people plans to drive business needs.
2.Consult, engage and advise line managers on various people and organization-related aspects
including employee relations, compensation, people development, performance management, retention
and organization re-restructure.
3.Understand and evaluate the resourcing needs and provide effective advice and
support on workforce planning.
4.Collate and use HR data and analytics to support and improve decisions on people and organization.
5.Facilitate the implementation of global / regional HR initiatives including but not limited to
employee engagement survey (SCOPE), performance review, organizational talent review (OTR),
D&I. 6.Engage with the leadership team to manage change across and deliver people plans to drive
business integrations resulting from merger & acquisitions
7.Manage HR budgets and work closely with Finance Department on data provisions to support
regular financial processes such as reporting and budgeting processes.
8.Attract and recruit the right talent to support organizational growth
9.Ensure that all HR activities meet the local regulatory and legal requirements
10.Coach and develop HR team members to ensure right capability and competency
levels to deliver on operating plans and objectives
11.Responsible for internal communications to facilitate the flow of information
within the business and act as the local communication correspondent for China.

Qualifications:
1.Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Management with minimum of 10 years
of Human Resources generalist experience and at least 2 years in supervisory grade;
2.Qualified in or understanding of job evaluation, compensation and benefits
and psychometrics;
3.Experience in working in a multinational environment is preferred;
4.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well and
inspire confidence;
5.Attentive to detail, resourceful and motivated,Results focused,Self-awareness;
6.Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English;
7.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint with a focus on Excel).
