Identifying Children with Special Educational Needs is very important for them and for the school. The
policy for Special Educational Needs students in AL Ansar International School is they engage them with
a regular classroom and normal students except the difficult cases, the difficult cases they engage them
in a regular classroom but just for a part time then they let them go and complete in a special school.

Accommodations that the school made in the classroom to identified the Special Needs students is they
engaging these students in a normal classroom, so they will develop their social skills. There is assistive
technology the teacher uses in the classroom which is: the computer, data show and big board to show
them the picture and videos on it. And teacher use flash card that include pictures also to help them.

My MST are using some strategies for the Special Educational Needs students such as; she tries to use
eye contact with them if it didnt work she talks with them quietly and without shouting on them, she
always tries to let them be calm and comfortable in the classroom. In the school, there are another
school staff that worked with the identified the Special Needs students which are they; the social
worker and her job to make interview and tests for them with asking them some specific questions, also
she take reports from special centers. While the principle communicates with these students parents
and decide if she can keep Special Needs student in the school or not.

In my opinion, I think that Special Educational Needs students must be included in a regular classroom
with normal students so they can learn from them and develop their social and emotional skills, unless if
the childs condition was very difficult it must be in a special class with special educational teacher.
