Tour at Quality Assurance, Quality Checking of Mediums and Spectrophotometry

In the last week of the trainees internship, she was accompanied to the QA area.
The QA determines whether or not the packaging products are fit for delivery. There is
an array of equipment/apparatus there that is not found in other departments. The GC
Machine there is more advanced too. She was given a quick overview by the analysts
about the work that they do. The treating dyne solutions that the trainee prepared weeks
ago was being used by the analysts there.

The trainee also performed quality checking of ink mediums. The mediums were
prepared by Mr. Francisco and Mr. Miguel. The parameters checked were the following:
viscosity (Zahn cup #4), density and total nonvolatile.

She also continued doing spectrophotometry to the finished products to make

sure that each batch of ink is comparable to the standard.
