1.0 GENERAL

1.1Dimension, shape, construction detail, quality of material, and construction methods must
refer to Civil Drawings and General Specifications for Civil Works.

1.2 Scope of works :

1.2.1 To construct new foundation.

1.2.2 To construct new concrete floor.

2.0 FOUNDATION

2.1 Foundation is made of reinforced concrete of K250 quality, which dimension and rein-
forcement detail as per drawing.
2.2 Existing soil to be excavated for foundation works with depth of excavation as per draw-
ings. Soil beneath the foundations must be compacted by hand compactor.
2.3 Inner diameter of foundation to be filled with compacted sand, as per drawings. Sand fill
must be compacted per layer with maximum layer thickness is 150 mm. Sand to be com-
pacted with hand compactor.
2.4 Base of compacted sand fill to be covered 150 mm thick of 1:3:5 concrete. At the top of
sand fill to be covered with 50 mm thick 1:3:5 concrete. Depth of compacted sand as per
drawings.
2.5 Soil surrounding the foundation also to be compacted.
2.6 To assure strength connection between foundation and concrete floor, foundation to be
provided with enough rebars overlap, which length and rebar diameter as per drawings.

3.0 CONCRETE FLOOR

3.1 Soil beneath the concrete floor must be compacted by hand compactor and covered with
50 mm thick compacted sand layer.
3.2 Concrete floor is made of 150 mm reinforced concrete of K250 quality, which reinforce-
ment detail as per drawing.
3.3 Before pouring concrete for floor, must be applied concrete bonding agent at the top sur -
face of foundation.
3.4 The bonding agent to be applied is a SIKA product i.e. SIKABond NV.
