Background:

Nissan India is launching its pre-owned car business in India on September 28, 2017 in an effort
to tap the fast-growing segment in the country. Nissan Intelligent Choice is designed for
customers looking for quality tested and certified pre-owned cars with optimum value, Nissan
Motor India said in a statement. It will also offer a platform for customers owning multi-brand
cars to exchange it with a new Nissan and Datsun car. The initiative will be operational in 10 key
citiesNoida, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata
and Guwahati. However, customers can avail of any after sales-service at 160 Nissan authorised
workshops across the country. All pre-owned cars will go through a comprehensive 167-point
quality check by Nissan technical experts and NIC-certified cars will be sold with up to 12
month/20,000 km warranty and three free inspections. Customers can also get extended
warranty of additional 12 months/20,000 km. Nissan Finance, the finance arm of Nissan India,
and HDFC, as finance partner, will offer finance options with the lowest rate of interest and
maximum LTV (loan to value) of up to 95 per cent to customers.
