JAMIE LEWIS

Jamie Lewis, the European youth Olympic all around champion, based at Woking GC
recieved a personalised GYMNOVA pommel horse as a reward for his recent GB success.

J amie is one of the most up and
coming male gymnasts in the UK. He
already has many titles to his name
including, four time british mens under
18 all around champion, mens under
18 british pommel horse champion and
most recently European youth olympic
all around champion. We met up with
Jamie at woking gym club where he is
coached by Simon Elliot, to present
him with his peronalised GYMNOVA
pommel horse, hoping that it will help
with his training. Jamies aim for 2018
is to make it to the commonwealth
games for the all aound competition,
and following on from that the aim
is the Tokyo olympic games in 2020.

FACTS ABOUT JAMIE

He started gymnastics when he was 7

years old.
The pommel horse is his favourite
piece of apparatus.
His least favourirte piece of apparatus
is the high bar when he was younger.
His role model is Kohei Uchimura who
is a 19 time world medalist.
He trains 29 hours per week.
