What was special about Preschool today?

Magic Wands!!!
Today Sarah, Rahma, Ayra and Samira decided to rule the school with
their magic wands! It was so great to hear the girls making a plan and
agreeing to search the school for sticks or straws so that they could all
have a wand each. Their imaginations went wild. They followed each other
around all afternoon. They stood on the big blue box and waved their magic
wands repeating each others spells to change the clouds and make them
move. They then tried to change teacher Chantelle and Catherine into frogs
and princesses!
I have been noticing lately that the children have increased their
competence in initiating play with others. There is more acceptance and
invitation for others to join in.
