Technology.
It concerned with the practice of using the educational methods and resources.
Developing the application and evaluation of system technologies
systematic way of designing, implementing and evaluating
the process of learning and teaching
An area of study or practice within fields of education, and
hold within instructional theory and learning theory.

Educational technology - therefore, is a creative blending of idea and product

technologies with subject-matter content in order to engender and improve teaching
and learning process.

The Education has 2 types of theories. These are the:

Instructional Theory - covers the process and system of learning and instruction.
The theory and practice of design, development, utilization, management and
evaluation of processes and resource learning. A discipline that focuses on how to
construct materials for promoting the education of people.

Learning Theory - is commonly defined as a process that brings together cognitive,

emotional, and environmental influences and experiences for acquiring, enhancing, or
making changes in one's knowledge, skills, values, and world views.
There are 4 Phases of Educational Technology, these are:

i. Identification of objectives - should include domains of human learning:

cognitive, affective and psychomotor.

ii. Design of learning experiences -

a) sequence and strategies
b) modes and media
iii. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the learning experiences
