Dear School Administrator:

I am interested in applying for an Elementary-level teaching position in the Roosevelt

school District. I am a 2019 graduate from the University of Arizona State, I have 6 years of
teaching experience with a variety of school age children as well as younger children. My main
focus is teaching 3rd grade but interested in 3rd through 5th grade. I think with the variety of
experience I have acquired over the years Im an ideal candidate for the position you have
available

I have experience working with children 5th through 8th grade and as well as children with
autism. I Currently work as a teachers assistant for a high functioning autistic class room. I enjoy
what Im currently do and have receive so much experience and knowledge in a different field of
education as well as work with preschool age children for two years. One thing that I have learned
over the years is that these children need patients and consistency and I believe I can provide that.

I Currently am in great standing with the community and parents and staff. Your school
strives to maintain positive and professional relations with parents and communication and as a
candidate I can provide that. I am a frequent volunteer for our community Non profit after school
program called Down Town Urban Kids. Children go and get after school help with homework
learn life skills and we also encourage parents to come and have community meeting. As part of
the community I strive for the best for the children and can manage participating in school
functions as well as be a good addition to your school.

The experience in the field of education and my flexibility to volunteer in, in school
activities as well as out can be benefit to your school My effective discipline skills and positive
initiative in the class room is what would make me a great teacher for this school.

Sincerely,
Cynthia Hernandez
