4.0 DESIGN PROCESS

FIXING FRONT WHEEL AXEL HOLDER

Figure 2.0

Figure 2.0 demonstrates the detail about front wheel axel holder. Two 15 mm round
hooks are placed on mouse trap at the position of 10mm x 10 mm.

6
FIXING BODY FRAME

Figure 3.0
Figure 3.0 provides details about how the body frame is fixed. Fifteen millimeter wood
stick is used as body frame for the car. From point A 5mmX5mm piece of wood is taken
out. Nails are used to fix the body frame with mouse trap. Additionally glue is applied for
strong bonding.

7
FIXING AXEL TO FRONT WHEEL

Figure 4.0

Figure 4.0 demonstrates details about front axel and front wheel.Mini cds used as front
wheels.Cork merged in to section B to support the front axel. Bondfix glue can be used
for strengthing purpose between cork and front axel.

8
FIXING BACK WHEEL

Figure 5.0
Figure 5.0 demonstrate detail about back wheel fixing system to body frame.Back wheel
constructed with masonite board.Back wheel axel fixed through section C at body frame.

FIXING PULLY ARM

6.0 MAINTENANCE
Car work with the mechanism of potentioal and kinetic energy.Potentioal energy is
gained by winding the string with back wheel axel. When winding released car move
with kinetic energy. Winding need to be done in clock wise. There may be friction
between axel and wheels so lubricant can be used to minimize the friction. It will
improve the progress of vehicle.
