Shoreline Clean-up

(and Mr. Lazaroffs grade 3 class)
The Project Timeline

Week 1: Decided on a topic Brannen Lake Shoreline Cleanup.


Members decided on roles for the project and what their duties were.

Week 2: Researching, preparing, and making contacts.


Created an official cleanup event with the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup.

Week 3: Met with Mr. Lazaroff to organize dates and meet the students.

Week 4: Finalized supplies, details, and roles.

Week 5: Oct 4th - Presented Who polluted the River? activity, reviewed safety procedures.
Oct 5th - Walked to Brannen Lake with the the crew. Had a picnic lunch and cleaned up!
Assigned students shoreline cleanup art.

Week 6: Shared project success with the class, viewed student artwork, had students self-assess,
presented certificates and had a pizza party!
