unable to take account of these dates and apologises for any timetable clashes which may occur. In case of
a timetable clash, please follow the guidance below.

Timetable Clashes
For the April 2010 examination we have continued to timetable more than one examination at the same
session, by timetabling some of the examinations which are offered at the October sitting together with some
of the less popular examinations. This is to reduce the duration of the examination sitting.

Inevitably with this method of timetabling, and the modular nature of the BCS Higher Education
Qualifications, one or two candidates may be disappointed. In the event of such a timetable “clash”, please
do the following: attempt the examination which is offered twice a year, at the October sitting; attempt the
examination which we only offer once a year, at the April sitting.
