VACANCY

The Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank, which recently rebranded its
trading name from PTA Bank to TDB, is a specialized African multilateral financial institution
serving most of Eastern and Southern Africa. The Banks objective is to provide short, medium
and long term financing to viable projects and trade finance activities in member states.

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Officer is responsible for the day-to-day execution of various HR functions
including Recruitment, On-boarding, Compensation and Benefits, Human Resources Information
System (HRIS), HR Analytics and Reporting, Employee Health and Safety, Staff Relations, and
other ad-hoc initiatives/projects within Human Resources and Administration Department. The
incumbent supports the Head, Human Resources and Head, Compensation and Benefits and
works very closely with Procurement, Administration, and Information Technology within Human
Resources and Administration Department.

Job Specifications:
Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in human resources
management, business/public administration, social sciences, or related area.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in human resources management, Information
Technology or related area.
Advanced knowledge of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Applicant Tracking
System (ATS), and other HRIS Software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural
setting;
Team player and ability to juggle with multiple, changing priorities
Fluency in English is desirable. Working knowledge of additional language is preferred.
