Students

Initially this chart indicates that students 2, 6, and 10 missed an unusual amount of questions compared to
other students. After further investigation I found that student two is a student who struggles with
reading. Although I offered help often throughout the quiz he did not accept the help, which may be a
factor in his quiz score. Students 6 and 10 did not participate actively in the quiz review and were often
distracted or off task during class.

Question Number

This chart indicated that questions 2, 3, and 8 were missed by over half the class and should be reviewed
for quality or to be sure that content was covered. Question 2 was a concept that was covered thoroughly
in class, but students may have easily confused the slight differences between templates and themes.
Question 3 included option D that stated A and B and option E that stated All of the Above. Students
may not have evaluated and looked over all the answers and simply assumed that All of the Above was
correct since it was included. Question 8 was a topic covered in class, but it was not discussed in depth. I
would consider possibly eliminating or modifying these questions for future use.

Not only did the girls outperform the boys overall, but also on each individual question with the exception
of question 5 and 7 where their performance was equal. The only questions where a higher percentage of
boys answered correctly was on questions 6, 10, and 18.
