CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Hyperdense areas of blood density are seen in left temporal and fronto-
parietal region .Thin blood collection is seen along inner table of
skull in left temporo-parietal region .The maximum thickness measures
8mm.

Blood collection is seen along left leaf of tentorium.

Calcified focus is seen in left temporal region .

Basal cisterns are seen normally.

Third and left lateral ventricles are compressed.

Midline shift to right is seen.

Bony architecture

No obvious fracture is seen.

IMPRESSION

MULTIPLE HEMORRHAGIC CONTUSIONS WITH SUBDURAL BLEED LEFT TEMPORO-


PARIETAL REGION WITH LEFT PERITENTORIAL BLEED WITH MASS EFFECT
MIDLINE SHIFT.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
