CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Thin hyperdense collection of blood density is seen along inner table of


skull in right temporo-occipital region with air-pockets. The maximum
thickness measures 5mm [ image no 2.006.]

Basal cisterns are seen normally.

Third and both lateral ventricles are seen normally.

No midline shift is seen.

Bony architecture

Sutural diastasis is seen in right temporo-occipital region with soft


tissue scalp swelling .

IMPRESSION :

SUTURAL DIASTASIS RIGHT TEMPORO-OCCIPITAL REGION WITH THIN EXTRA-AXIAL


BLEED RIGHT TEMPORO-OCCIPITAL REGION WITH MINIMAL PNEUMOCEPHALUS .

Clinical correlation is necessary.
