IN CONSIDERATION of issue of the final payment (2.5% of retention sum) and expiry of Defect
Liability Period (DLP) thereupon, The Client HEREBY WAIVES, RELEASES AND FOREVER
DISCHARGES The Contractor from all claims, demands, debts, accounts, expenses, costs, liens
actions and proceedings of any and every kind, name and nature and description whether known or
unknown which The Client has or might have or might assert against The Contractor arising under or
by virtue of the Contract or out of its performance.
