My name is _________ and I am a student at Flinders University currently undertaking studies in

sport and event management.

Each year students from Flinders host a modified AFL 9s carnival in which schools from all around
Adelaide participate. The carnival, which this year will be held at the top Sturt Campus oval (corner
of Sturt and Main South Road) on Tuesday October 24th, is growing in stature as a non-profit, FREE
event and is unvaryingly well publicised. The philosophy of the carnival is to encourage safe
participation in physical activity for students of all genders, skill levels and backgrounds. This year we
aim to partner with charity groups the Smith Family and the Australian Cancer Council, whereby any
excess funds raised will be donated.

We would greatly appreciate it if your organisation would help facilitate our event through either a
Sponsorship and /or In-Kind Partnership. Suggested donations/items could include ______________.
In recognition of your support, sponsors will be publicly acknowledged and thanked at the event and
will receive an official, framed Certificate of Appreciation. Additional signage, banners or
promotional materials displaying your organisations details can also be promoted/distributed at the
event. We are also open to discussing naming rights and other promotional requests.
