This week we reviewed how to subtract with regrouping. Notes from Teacher Reading: We are working this week with a folk Class tale. A folk tale is a story that helps to Halloween teach the reader a life lesson. Ask your child what life lessons they have learned Costume Party from The Harvest Birds. Tues. Oct. 31 Social Studies: We are on our way through Canada. We Important Dates have talked about the 10 Provinces and 3 Territories, we have looked at a map of this, the second largest country in the November 7- 1:00 Dismissal world. We have read about, colored and discussed Canadian symbols such as the flag, the maple leaf, and the beaver. November 10- Veteran's Day Other: November 15/16- 11:30 Your Parent/Teacher Conference dates and times came home this dismissal and week.
