ASSESSMENT OF DATA

Since the subject has less confidence in her it is


suggested to check if it has affected her level of
adjustment and attitude towards others. For
checking her confidence the suitable tests are AISS,
SAS. By conducting those tests we can make out
whether my subject has problems regarding
adjustment and attitude towards others.

Sodhis Attitude Scale (SAS)

Attitude are general pre-disposition towards a


person, an object, event, issue or a thing in a
favourable and unfavourable manner. Attitudes are
reflected in our communications with other and
affect our behavior.
Attitudes share different unique characteristics:
They are object based.
They have a direction.
They are relatively stable.
They have motivational properties.
They are learnt.
They manifest in the behavior of peple.
Attitudes have 3 components
Cognitive components refers to the sets of
believes through which the attitude is
expressed.
Affective components refer to the emotions
that accompany on attitude.
Behavioural component relate to the actual
behavior that an attitude expresses.

Sodhis attitude scale assesses the attitude of the


students towards five areas, viz., towards teachers
and parents, towards discipline, towards life and
humanity, towards country and towards religion.

The results are presented in table 1 and table 2.

table. The subject has a score of and

The subject has positive attitude towards parents


and teachers, discipline, country and religion and
negative attitude towards life and humanity.

EVALUATION &CONCLUSION
The subject is facing the problem of lack of
confidence. She has good adjustment in all areas but
the problem is she doesnt have enough confidence.
She had scored good in emotional and social
adjustment and an average in educational
adjustment in AISS test.

The subject has positive attitude towards parents


and teachers, discipline, country and religion, and
negative attitude towards life and humanity.

All forms of support should be given to the subject


so that she can build up her confidence. Parents
should give her the strength to build up her self
confidence and support her. Friends should also
give her full support from school by providing her
with supportive tips.

Participating in school programs, showing her


abilities and skills in various areas without lack of
confidence may improve her self-confidence.
All these things will help in the improvement of
subjects self-confidence and hence the problem can
be solved.
