At the successful completion of summer internship program, I wish to express my true regards to
individuals who supported and directed me throughout this internship.

First, My Sincere thanks to Mr. Olin Singh Oinam (Cluster Head), for giving me an opportunity
to work in the Institutional Channel and to learn from the practical challenges that a manager
faces while on the job. He also gave me his valuable time in initial days of my training to make
feel me comfortable about organization and various other aspect like products, staff etc.

I also thank Mr. Gopal Vyas who as my Project Guide has always encouraged me to do new
things and given his inputs as and when he thought necessary, and also being like a guiding light
throughout the course of my internship.

I am most thankful to my Faculty Guide Mr.Sarvendu Tiwari who always gave me direction in
which my project had to move which was very crucial for successful completion of the project.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

TITLE OF THE PROJECT: “COMPARISON STUDY OF BANK RECURRING

DEPOSIT AND SYSTEMETIC INVESTMENT PLAN”

This project is basically a comparison study between Bank Recurring Deposit and
Systematic Investment Plan. There were various conclusions which were made from the
project report. There were advantages and disadvantages for both Recurring Deposit and
Systematic Investment Plan. From the project it can be concluded that:

 Investors wanting a long term investment should go for SIP.

 SIP gives a higher rate of interest in long run.

 Any investors wanting a safe investment should do a RD or SIP with debt option.

 RD gives a specific return on investment.

 Any investor having a RD does not have to bear loss.

 One should always go through the investment plans before investing.

 Always be specific what type of return do you want from your investment.
