Inspirational people have the power to inspire us, motivate us and even
help us live our lives more fully.
They were five students with nothing in common, faced with spending a
Saturday detention together in their high school library. At 7 a.m., they had
nothing to say, but by 4 p.m., they had bared their souls to each other and
become good friends. To the outside world they were simply the Jock, the
Brain, the Criminal, the Princess and the Kook, but to each other, they
would always be the Breakfast Club.
Way before Mr. Holland began teaching his opus and Michelle Pfeiffer was
molding dangerous minds, Sidney Poitier was taming a room of unruly
British teens with his real-life lessons and tough-love tactics (a boxing
glove to the stomach, anyone?). Having himself played an insubordinate
kid in 1955's Blackboard Jungle, the student masterfully becomes the
teacher in this sappy but never maudlin tale of inspiration and tolerance.

The success of our work is measured by a single question: Are people
better off now than when we started?
-PresidentWilliamJ. Clinton
Don't worry about what you need. Don't worry about what you want.
In this moment, be free to be you. Give the value that you long to give.
Do the things that can make a difference. Do them out of love.
You don't have a job; you have a purpose. The way to achieve is to stop
fretting about achievement.
Start loving the opportunity the moment holds. Success is not something
you strive for and get, but comes from how authentic you allow yourself to
be.
The beauty of now fills your world with possibility. Feel the love in your
heart, and you know what to do.
-- Ralph Marston
You must be the change you wish to see in the world. --Mahatma Gandhi
Smile at life
No matter what else you have or do not have, you have the beautiful
experience of life. No matter what may have happened before, or what
might come next, you have this moment.
Now is when you can make it count. Now is when you are connected with
unbounded opportunities to make a positive difference.
Don't waste your time complaining about what you lack or worrying about
what you might lose. Invest the best of what you have in this moment to
create new value.
Smile at life, even when life has not smiled at you first. Be the first one to
initiate goodness, and you'll be the first one to benefit from that goodness.
You are here, and there is nothing to fear. Count your blessings, and
before you're finished counting you'll have even more.
-- Ralph Marston
Luck affects everything; let your hook always be cast; in the stream where
you least expect it, there will be a fish. - Ovid
