* Our Halloween party is at 9:00 am on Tuesday. We
will still have Spanish from 10:30 to 11:45 am on
Tuesday. Parade at 11:15 am. Dismissal at 12:05 pm.
* Mrs. Treusch has a doctors appointment Thursday
afternoon, so shell be gone the second half of the
day.

Spelling/Vocabulary:
Unit 5 Test has been pushed back
to Thursday, November 2nd because
of Wednesdays school mass.
Students are expected to know the
meanings of each of the following words as
well as how to spell each word:

NOTE: For each unit, your child will be
required to complete the Tic-Tac-Toe
Vocabulary Activity Boxes. They will
receive this at the beginning of each unit.
This assignment is always due the day of
the test!

Science (Mrs. Ballantyne):
Graphing Motion. The test is tentatively scheduled for
Thursday, November 9th.
Math (Mrs. Ballantyne):
Tentative Homework:
Monday: p. 102; 10-28.
Tuesday: Halloween; no homework.
Wednesday: p. 105; 8-21.
Thursday: p. 107; 6-18.
Friday: timed test.
The Test on Chapter 2 is tentatively scheduled for
Wednesday, Nov. 8th.
Complete the multiplication log and turn it in next Monday.
(Practice your facts 10 mins. each day!) This is to be handed
in on Mondays for a grade. They will get their first log on
the 30th.
This weeks IXL No IXL this week.
Social Studies (Mrs. Ballantyne):
Finish up Chapter 2. Test tentatively scheduled for
Thursday, November 7th.
English/Writing (Mrs. Treusch):
We will be learning more about personal pronouns,
pronouns as subjects, subject complements, and
diagramming sentences.
Reading (Mrs. Treusch):
We are continuing our Hatchet book, focusing on
characterization and plot. When we are done reading our
novel, we will be working on our novel project. We will have
a tentative quiz on Thursday.
Religion (Mrs. Demerly):
Mass is Wednesday this week for All Saints Day. We are
continuing our unit on Baptism and Confirmation. There will
be a quiz on Friday, November 3rd.
