 Chapter 1: A new case for Sherlock
Holmes
A man called Dr. Mortimer comes to see Sherlock Holmes the
famous London detective

1. Sherlock: Dr Mortimer, you know my friend Dr Watson, dont

you? Now, how we help you?

Mortimer: Well do you know about the curse of the baskerville

family?

Watson: Sit down by the fire and tell us about it

2. Mortimer: Sir Hugo Baskerville was an evil man, in 1643, he

kidnapped a neighbours daughter and took her to baskerville hall

3. Mortimer: the girl managed to escape, but Sir Hugo and his
friends chased her across the moor.

4. Mortimer: The girl died of fear suddenly they saw a huge black
hound with eyes of fire. It killed sir hugo. He was the first
Baskervilles to die that way-but not the last

 5. Mortimer: In june, Sir Charles Baskerville died. The hound killed

bim!

6. Watson: what a frightening story!

Sherlock: its interesting, but its only an old legend. What do you
want me to do?

7. Mortimer: i want you to protect Sir Henry Baskerville, Sir Charles

was a very rich man. Now his hephew, Sir Henry, will inherit all his
money and property.

8. Mortimer: Sir Henry is the last of the Baskervilles. I dont want

him to die, too

Sherlock: I will do what i can to help hi Bring him to see me

tomorrow morning
 Chapter 2: Strange happenings
Dr mortimer brings sir Henry Baskerville to meet Sherlock
Holmes and Dr Watson.

1.Mortimer: Sir Henry arrived yesterday. He has lived in Canada

since he was a boy.

Henry: Pleased to meet you, Mr Holmes.

Sherlock: Pleased to meet you, Sir Henry.

2.Watson: Is it good to be back in England, Sir Henry?

Henry: Well, yes... but this morning i received a letter warning me to

stay away from Baskerville Hall.

3.Sherlock: May i see the letter, please?

Letter: Your life is in danger do not come to Dartmoor.

4.Sherlock Piensa: Hmm... I can smell perfume. A woman sent this

letter, but how did she know where Sir Henry is staying?

5. Sherlock: Have any other strange things happened since you

arrived, Sir Henry?

Henry: Yes, somebody took one of my boots from my hotel room this
morning!

6.Mortimer: One of your boots?! That isnt important, is it?

Sherlock: I dont know. Perhaps someone is following you. Now, i

want you to return to your hotel until this evening.

7.Watson: There isnt anyone following them...

Sherlock: Ah, but there is, Watson, the man in that cab! I cant see
his face, though.

8. Stapleton: Driver! Waterloo station,quickly!

Sherlock: Oh, no! hes seen us! Never mind, i gave got an idea...

9.Sherlock: Watson, you mustgo to Baskerville Hall whit Sir Henry.

Write me a report every day.

Watson: All right, Holmes... but what are you going to do?

Sherlock: Please, Watson, no questions just do as i ask.

 Chapter 3: Danger on Dartmoor
Dr Mortimer and Dr Watson travel to Dartmoor with Sir Henry
Baskerville hall is not far from the station

1. Watson: Sergeant, why are there so many policemen here?

Sergeant: A murderer called seldon has escaped from dartmoor

prison, Sir. Dont worry, though- well catch him

2. Mortimer: these are the Barrymores, your uncles servants.

Barrymores: Welcome to Baskerville hall, Sir Henry

In the middle of the night...

3. Watson: what is Barrymore doing? Was he the man in the cab?

A few days later...

4. Watson: i think ill walk to the village and post my report to

Holmes, Sir Henry. Please dont leave the house alone it may not
be safe.


6_ Stapleton: Good morning. Youre Dr Watson,
arent you? Im Jack Stapleton. Thats my house
and theres my wife Beryl.

Watson: Pleased to meet you. Would you like to

join me for a walk?

7_Watson: Shall we go this way?

Stapleton: Oh, no! Thats the Grimpen Mire. There

s quicksand everywhere!. I know a safe way
through, but for a stranger like you its very
dangerous.

8_Watson: Whats that aful noise?.

9_AA-OO-OUH! WOO-OU-AHH!

Stapleton: Peope say its the Baskerville hound...

a stupid old legend... please excuse me, i mut
go...

10_Beryl: Sir Henry, you must leave here at once!

You are in terrible danger!

Watson: Imnot Sie Henry, im his friend. Are you

Beryl Stapleton?.
 Chapter 4: The midnight watcher
Watson has been at Baskerville hall a week a daily report to
send to Sherlock Holmes

1. A strange thing, Holmes.. every night, Barrymore signals from a

window whith a light. Jonight, we are going to find out why...

2. That night.

Watson: who are you signalling to, Barrymore?

3. Barrymore: oh, itmy fault. Sir Seldon, the prisoner who

escaped... hes my brothe, Sir. We signal to tell him were bringing
food. I love him!

4. Watson: Look there he is!

Henry: Poor Mrs Barrymore, but we must catch Seldon. Hes

dangerous to society

5: watson are you all right?

Henry: Aaah!

6. Henry: hes escaped, Doctor.
Well never find him now

Watson: Shh! Someones

watching us.

7. it isnt Seldon, and it isnt a

policeman. Im going to find out
who it is

 Chapter 5: The hound attacks
Dr Watson is about ro shoot when he hears a familiar voice.

1_Watson: Holme! How long have you been here?

Sherlock: Ever since you arrived, but i didnt want anyone to know i was
here. The post office gave me your letters every day i know who wants to
kill Sir Henry...

2_AA-OO-OUH! WOO-OU-AHH! HELP!!! HELP!!!

Sherlock: Whats that?!

Watson: The Bakerville hound! Hurry!

3_AA-OO-OUH! AAARGH

Sherlock y Watson: Sir Henry! Oh, no!

4_Watson: Hes dead, im afraid but it isnt Sir Henry, its Seldon. Hes
wearing Sir Henrys old clothes. Did Barrymore give them to him?

5_Sherlock: The dog thought it was chasing Sir Henry. Thats why
someone stole Sir Henrys boot in London, Watson- for the dog to smell!

6_Stapleton: I heard shouting and came to help.
Whats happened, Mr Holes? Is that Sir Henry?

Watson: No, its Seldon. We must tell the police.

Sherlock piensa: He knows who i am!.

7_Stapleton: Why dont you and Dr Watson come

to dinner tonight? And Sir Henry, of course.

Watson: Thank you, but Watson and i must

return to London at once. We will tell Sir Henry
about your kind invitation, though.

8_ Henry: Ill tell Mrs Barrymore about Seldon,

her brother. The poor woman will be very upset.

Sherlock: Yes... Watson , come and look at this!.

9_Sherlock: Elementary, my dear Watson!

Stapleton is really a Baskerville. He killed Sir
Charles- and we must stop him before he
murders Sir Henry, too!.

Watson: Without the hair, Hugo Baskerville is

just like Stapleton! Bur how...?
 Chapter 6: An invitation to murder
Holme and Watson tell Sir Henry about Stapleton? Invitation to
dinner

1. Henry: But i dont want to go to stapletons house alone!

Sherlock: Dont worry, Sir Henry. If you do what lve told you, you
ll be perfectly safe, i primise. Now, i must send for the police.

2. Sherlock: id like to send a telegram to inspector Lestrade of

scotland yard in London, please. Its urgent.

3. Watson: Well, Sir Henry has arrived. I hope we can keep him
safe!

4. Sherlock: Is stapleton really to dangerous?

Watson: yes, lestrade! Now get down!

5. Sherlock: Go and take a look, Watson, then come back and

report

6. Watson: Where is Beryl stapleton? I cant see her angywere.

7. Watson: and i heard a strange noise from a shed in the garden.

Theres something in there.

8. Henry: Trank you for dinner, Stapleton. I say, What terrible fog!

Stapleton: Yes-dont get lost on the moor and end up in grimpen

Mire!

9. AA-OO-OUH! WOO-OU-AHH! Help!!!!

Watson: Its the baskerville hound! We have to save Sir Henry!

Watson Lestrade SHOOT!!!

 Chapter 7: The case is closed
A hound wiht eyes of fire wa chasing Sir Henry the thick fog.

1_Watson: Is Sir Henry alive?

Sherlock: Yes- we shot the hound just in time. It was a real dog.

2_Watson: Look phosphorus! Stapleton painted this dogs eyes to make it look like
the hound in the legend.

3_Henry: Thank you for saving my life!

Sherlock: Quickly, back to the house! We must catch Stapleton before he gets away.

4_Watson : Theres someone up- stairs in the attic!

5_Sherlock: Your perfume... you sent the warning letter to Sir Henry! Why did your
husband tie you up?

Beryl: I wanted to stop him from killing Sir Henry. He used the dog before, to kill Sir
Charles.

6_Watson: But why?

Beryl: Hes Roger Baskervilles son. Whit Sir Henry dead, Baskerville Hall woild be
his.

7_Watson: Where is he now?

Beryl: In Grimpen Mire. You wont catch him tonight in this fog.

Sherlock: Then well wait. Until morning.

8_Beryl: Jack put these sticks here. They show the only safe
way through the mire.

9_Watson: There are no footprints in this mud, Holmes- and im

afraid of getting cauht in the quickand!

Sherlock: Dont worry. Lestreade. If hes still alive, well find

him!

10_Watson: Look, Holmes! Stapletons scarf, in the middle of

the quicksand!

11_Sherlock: Obviously he lost his way in the fog and fell in.

Watson: Well never find his body in there...

12_Henry:thank you again, Mr Holmes. And you, too, Dr Watson.

Watson: Our pleasure, Sir Henry.

Sherlock: Well, Watson- the case is closed.
