1980s Sherlock There are more extras on the street and clearly has a bigger budget
than the 1954 version.
Watson is more like a sidekick/acquittance to Sherlock, not a friend.
When one character turns away from the camera it focuses on them
instead.

2010 Sherlock Set in the modern day, not in the late 19th century.
Shows a substantial difference in modern technology and the
methods of crime.
Sherlock still has the same techniques (beating a dead course).
Anticipating music throughout the episodes.
Broken the social stereotypes from the 19th and 20th centuries.
