TOOLS IN REDMINE
This tool helps in creating a new project and give its title
description, identifier and other things and helps us to choose the
modules which we want in our project like issue tracking, gantts,
calendar etc.
I created a project name srishtis demo and gave description as
sample and identifier and chose all the modules.

View all issues
This tool is divided into sub tools like view all issues, gantt and
calendars .
1. View all issues
This tool helps us to see all the issues of all the projects in my accout
with its detailed information.
2. Calendars
6
3.Gantts.
By gantt we mean a chart in which a series of horizontal lines
shows the amount of work done or production completed in
certain periods of time in relation to the amount planned for
those periods
7
helps us to view the time spent on each activity of all the projects
along with the issue description.
Overall activity
Helps us to view the details of the activity of all the projects and in
this we can select what attributes we want to see in the side tab.
And apply the changes
8
Which give insights of our project and has sub tools to create a sub project
within our project. We also have a side bar which computes the time we are
spending in managing the project.
And has links to other features of the project as well like gantt, issues,
calendar.

2. Activity
Then we have the activity feature just like the overall activity tool. Here
we view every detail of the activity of a particular project. This maintained
along with the date and time since its an activity log
3. Issues
Here we view the issues of our project with every detail which we fill
when we create a issue. It also has sub tools of summary calendar and
gantts.
FILTERS
We can apply filters according to the particular type of issue we want to
see. Like in status tab we can select open, is not open etc and further tabs
open to enquire information to sort the issues.
9
OPTIONS
We can again apply more filters in the option menu to segregate the issue
we are searching for. By selecting the columns and group result tab. And
then click on apply.
4. New issue
Here we create issues and select categories if its a bug or feature or support
and fill in other information about it which we apply in filters while searching
for a particular issue.
10
5. GANTT
Here we view gantt of a particular project. Where a series of
horizontal lines shows the amount of work done or production
completed in certain periods of time in relation to the amount
planned for those periods.

This feature shows the activity log in a calendar format, with
activity description in the box of a particular date.
7. News
In this feature we can add news related to the project on a particular date
which will be visible to the team members
It has a sub tool to add news. We can create news and fill the description
which will be made available to the team members. We can also attach
files and preview our news and add it to the watched section by clicking
on watch and also make it unwatch by clicking again.
8. Documents
We can view our added documents here and sort them according to
author title etc. and we can also add document with title description and
add files to it. Preview is also available.
9. Wikis
A wiki is a website where users can add, remove, and edit every page
using a web browser. It's so terrifically easy for people to jump in and
revise pages that wikis are becoming known as the tool of choice for large,
multiple-participant projects.
12
Here we can create wikis.
10. Files
We can view our added files here and add files. It is different from
document as there we add files inside a document. But here we just add a
file without documentation or it itself can be a document.
11. Settings
It is the master tab it controls the project setting we can do so much here
like adding team members, changing project information or changing the
modules available, forums etc.
And reset every data.
