CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Hyperdense areas of blood density are seen in left frontal region with
blood extending into CSF spaces ..

Basal cisterns are seen normally.

Third and left lateral ventricles are compressed.

Minimal midline shift to right is seen.

Bony architecture

No obvious fracture is seen.


Soft tissue scalp swelling is seen in right posterior parietal region .

OPINION:

LEFT FRONTAL PARENCHYMAL HEMATOMAS WITH SUBARACHNOID BLEED WITH MASS


EFFECT AND MIDLINE SHIFT.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
