ASSIGNMENT: In a clear, concise, and well-constructed seven (7) paragraph essay please
respond to the following:

In the context of Settler Societies and Indigenous Peoples please analyze the
treatment of Australian Aboriginals at the hands of Anglo settlers and the colonial
Australian government. Compare the treatment of aboriginals to that of the
American Indian. How might such historical relationships effect race relations
and government policy in contemporary Australia and America?

of Settler Societies and Black, Red, and White Wars.
-Your ideas are important but this is not a work of opinion but of reasoned thought given your
assigned readings.
- You do not need a works cited page or bibliography.
-To notate information quoted or paraphrased use parenthetical notation with authors last name
and page number. For example, (Schaller, 632) would indicate that information came from page
632 of your textbook, while (Drake, 51) would indicate information from page 51 of Drakes
article.

Your paper should be set up as follows:

Double spaced, indent paragraphs and do not add additional spacing between paragraphs.
One inch margins
12 point Times New Roman.
