2nd Annual DArtShop Challenge

Decorated Wall Art Mirror

All DArtShop Members are invited to create a decorative

wall art mirror meant to brighten your day! What always
brings a smile to your face? What idea, place, person, words,
etc., remind you to be thankful for being alive? What could
make you laugh when you feel like crying? The answers to
these questions may be the jumpstart you need to find your
inspiration. You will receive an 8 mirror that you will
attach to a surface of your choice and decorate.

All mirrors must meet the following criteria:

Have a finished measurement of at least 12. (If the finished design

does not remain circular, one side must be at least 12.)
Include at least two colors/values.
Be able to hang securely on a wall.
At least 1/3 of the mirror surface must be visible.
Be an original design.

Schedule

July 1, 2017 - Jan 26, 2018 - Decorate mirrors.

Jan 27 - Bring completed mirrors to DArtShop Open House 2018.
All mirrors should be covered so as not to be revealed until your turn at
Show & Tell.
Secret casting of ballots for Members Choice Awards, 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.
February 24, 2018 - Awards winners revealed and awards presented.
