Next week OLU
participate in Respect Life

our faith into action through
prayer and advocacy for the
most vulnerable, we have set
Oct. 16-20 aside to enhance our
curriculum with information and
activities. For the last many
years, eighth graders have
attended a Pro-Life Forum. This
year, the Pro-Life Office at the
Archdiocese has decided to
involve the entire school.
Pope Francis has identified
themes on which we will focus;
immigration/refugees; assisted
suicide; marriage and family,
care for Gods creation; and
abortion. Respect Life Week
will immerse our students in
these social topics so that at the
end of the week they will have a
fuller understanding of the
incomparable worth of every
person and our corresponding
responsibility, at every age
level, to respect everyone.
As a school, we will be
participating in a collection drive
next week to help provide
needed items. We ask that each
student bring at least one item
from the list. If youre able to
send more, great! If you havent
had a chance to review the
