Gibberish is an umbrella term for nonsensical words strung together to
create sounds or even a language. Kids often learn the game on the playground or it is passed down to family members. This is just one version of many. How it works: Step One Separate each word out into syllables (remember that every syllable only has ONE vowel sound). Ex. Teach/er Step Two Add da or dah to each syllable Ex. Teach-da er-da Step Three Finally, rhyme each syllable with a gibberish word starting with the letter G and write it out phonetically. Ex. Teach-da-geach er-da-ger Another example: Pencil = Pen-da-gen cil-da-gil In a group of 3 or 4 practice with one another! Try I love you!
