TRASH TALK AGS Service Project erat volutpat.
November 2015
For this project we created upcycled models of everyday items made out
of cardboard. We designed a presentation about the importance of
Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling and shared it with our classmates, LANGUAGES
teachers, and parents.

Costa Rica AGS Service Project
January 2016

Traveled to Costa Rica and worked alongside the Bri Bri Tribe to
renovate an assisted living home, pick up trash around the river, and
plant new trees on their land. Also worked on Fincas to help cut sugar
cane, dry beans, and tend to livestock.

TGPLAN AGS Service Project

April 2016

This project pushed us to think globally after returning from Costa Rica.
A group of my peers and I implemented a project in which we tried to
combat materialism in our local community because we saw such a vast
difference in happiness here and in Costa Rica. Through this project we
teamed with The Salvation Army and conducted a donation drive of any
unnecessary items found in a person's home.

Worked with third grade students in their classrooms as well as helped

them in their culture class to improve their speech in other languages.
Planned Parenthood Community Service
Certified Volunteer
Took the mandatory class to become a certified volunteer at any Planned
Parenthood event. Help to get people in the community involved in the
politics affecting them and create more kindness and acceptance.

Book Buddies Community Service

September 2017 - June 2018
I go to Barton Hills Elementary School once a week to work with a
second grader on her reading and comprehension skills.

Mentor Community Service

August 2015 - June 2016
Once a week I would go to Barton Hills Elementary School to help a
struggling sixth-grader socially and with her education.

Feed My People Community Service

I go to First United Methodist Church to feed the homeless in the
mornings. We give them food, supplies to get clean, and talk to them
about their lives and to make sure they are in a good situation.

Soccer Captain Austin High School

November 2014 - March 2015

Voted captain freshman year for the soccer team. Titled undefeated
district champions.

Link Crew is an organization at Austin High in which students must

welcome freshman through their first year of high school.
