Installation Checklist
1 Method Statement, ITP and Risk Assessment are approved.
2 Provide sufficient space around the unit for servicing and air circulation.
3 Make sure the installation site withstands the unit's weight and vibration.
4 Make sure the area is well ventilated.
5 Make sure the unit is level.
Make sure the unit is installed level on a sufficiently strong base to prevent vibration and

noise.
7 Ensure vibration isolators are provided.
Ensured the base height is according to manufacture's recommendation from the floor to
8 allow the installation of condensate drain with necessary trap for easy flow or per
approved shopdrawings.

Installation Checklist for piping
2 No foreign material inside the pipe.
3 The layout of pipe is as specified in the latest reviewed shop drawing.
Verify QND as shown on the latest shop drawing

5 Pipe support and/or brackets are installed correctly
6 Pipes are free of any physical damage or misalignment
7 Make sure the field piping and connections are not subjected to stress
The installation is checked using a level hose and measuring tape with reference to the

latest reviewed shop drawing.
Joints are properly finished, Group of pipes installed are parallel to each other and there
9
is adequate space for servicing.
Ensure that all refrigeration field pipes are insulated as per manufacturer's
10
recommendations.
11 Pipes are not interfacing with other services
12 Pipes are identified as per schedule
13 Ensure that brazing of the field piping has been done under Nitrogen (N2) ventilation.
