    To remove the background from a picture in Photoshop CC 2017, first open Photoshop and create a new file. Then add the picture and use the Polygonal Lasso Tool or Magic Eraser to select the part you want to keep. Select inverse to select the background and delete it using backspace. Add a new background below the picture to see the final result with only the foreground.

    Step 1: Open Adobe Photoshop CC 2017.

    Step 2: Click New or type Ctrl+N


    Step 3: This is the picture after you create a new file.

    Step 4: Add a picture by dragging the picture from Fie Explorer.


    Step 5: Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool and select the part that want to be kept (non background). If
    the background has a flat colour, use the magic eraser instead.

    Step 6: After you select the picture, right click the the part that is selected and click select inverse.
    After you select inverse click the background and delete it by typing backspace or DEL. If there are a
    part of the background is still there, select the background using the Polygonal Lasso Tool and then
    delete the background (DONT USE THE SELECT INVERSE).
    Step 7: Add the background to picture and make sure the picture that we removed the background
    is above the background. And this is the result!
