INTRUCTIONS:
1 -2) Make ch 10 and work 2 rows in dc/ tc. (dc/tc 10)
3) Increases, odd rows : * dc 1 in the first dc, dc 2 in the second dc, dc 1 in
each remaining dc/ tc *.
4) Work in dc/ tc all even rows.
Repeat rows 3 and 4 until you have dc/ tc 20.
25) Decreases, odd rows : * dc/ tc 1 in first dc/ tc, dc/ tc 2 tog in next dc/tc,
dc/ tc 1 in each remaining dc/ tc*.
26) Work in dc/ tc all even rows.
Repeat rows 25 and 26 until you have dc/ tc 10. Dont cut the yarn.
Depending on your taste, you can vary the edge of the band. This border begins
on the last row of the band, continues along the curved side of the reverse and
finally on the cast-on row.
Crochet just one row (in sc/dc) with a contrasting yarn (Yellow
CLOCHETTE).
Crochet a row in crab st (Pink CLOCHETTE).
Crochet a shells border (Blue CLOCHETTE) :
- 1 shell= 3 dc/tc, separate with a sc
- Work 3 shells on the first short side of the band, 1 on the corner, all
along the curved edge, 1 on the next corner, then 3 on the second short
side.

Pick up dc/ tc 66 tightly along the inside edge of the brim. Now
crochet in the round. You can pick up Dc/tc 2 tog a few times in this
rnd to avoid holes.
