Important Information
Book Fair Nov. 4-10
Multiplication is in full swing.
Now is the time to begin
working with your student to
memorize the multiplication
facts. We have moved on to
division, and it is quite a
struggle for those who do not
know their facts. Please
ensure your child is
completing the ENTIRE
multiplication page on the
homework. Just continue
working them in one-minute
increments.
Please work on the facts
through 12s. Memorization of
these facts is crucial for their
math future!
Student of the Week: Addie
The Week at a Glance
Math: We will test on Topic 4 on Tuesday.
Then, Topic 5 covers more multiplication
strategies and introduces the multiplication
table.
Reading: This week we will work on using
context clues to figure out unknown words.
Writing: We will return to writing a
reflective narrative, which is our main form
of writing in 3rd grade.
Social Studies: We will continue a study of
Civics and Government.
Breakfast and Books
Join us to kick off the book
fair with biscuits and gravy
Sat. morning 8:00-11:00.

to shop the book fair
