In America, eating beef burgers is common, touching a woman's shoulder while speaking is acceptable, and films containing kissing scenes can be shown publicly. However, in India, beef burgers are avoided out of respect for cows as sacred animals, physical contact between men and women is restricted, and public displays of affection are censored in films. These cultural differences led to awkward moments for an American, Todd, during his time working in India, where he was unprepared for the norms of Indian culture.     Differences Culture

    Culture refers to the cumulative deposit of knowledge, religion, beliefs, attitudes,


    meanings in and in what they do. Culture is seen rules virtually every aspect of your life and
    like most people. Culture in some countries are different. Culture in America has modern
    culture, but in India there are most people still using very strong religious culture. Granted
    that one who has more insight on Indian culture would find it funnier than someone who is
    still coming to terms with real-life outsourcing, any viewer with an open mind would easily
    find it. Based on the "Outsourcing" episodes there is some differences behavior and cultural
    between American who named Todd and the people in his placed of work, India. There is
    some comedy and unique story in there. Having never ventured out of the country, he is
    unprepared for the culture shock. First almost in all of people in America very like eat cow
    meat. Todd didn't want to eat burger in India, because there's no beef burger. In India do not
    use beef burgers because cows were sacred animals based on their belief. Second differences
    is In America there is common if you talking to other people and touch her shoulder, but in
    India it was forbidden. There is man shouldn't touch a woman even though only touched her
    shoulder. That is one of a unique and awkward moment in the film, Todd always touching the
    shoulder when speaking, but actually in India that is prohibited. Last, in US showing film
    that contains scenes of kissing are common but in India it is should not be showing.
    Difference in understanding of body language may be a problem. When he talking to
    someone in telephone and another person come to you, you may raise your index finger to
    means that wait, but it may be a different means. Don't assume that all things you do are good
    and true, in another contry it may shouldn't. So there are many different culture in the world,
    we should be proud and respectful of the culture in every country because it characterizes
    each country.
