RAILWAY RESERVATION SYSTEM

Introduction
This Railway Reservation System is basically concerned with the reservation and
cancellation of railway tickets .This system is of prime importance because
millions of people travel by railways and it is not possible for a human to manage
such a huge amount of data.

Being more specific, this system can perform the basic functions like reservation
and cancellation .The user first has to register on the server .For the registration
the user has to provide certain information like :

1. Name

2. Email ID

3. Password

4. Gender

5. Age

6. Mobile

7. City & State

Upon registration each user gets access to the system and its facilities like
reservation , cancellation ,enquiry about trains ,train schedule ,fare details ,etc.

1. Reservation / Booking
2. Cancellation
3. Find Trains
The user can enter the source and destination station and can find
the specific train.

4. Train Schedule
The user can get the schedule of a specific train by entering train
name or ID.

5. Fare Enquiry
6. PNR Enquiry
The user can enter the PNR number and can get all the details of
journey.

7. Seat Availability
8. Information about Trains
9. Basic Graphical User Interface (GUI)
This system will have basic GUI for better interaction with the
user.
