Ali (ST)-In Class Support / Resource Teacher

Sub Schedule 17-18


Below is a schedule I assist in each class. Please introduce yourself as the
substitute for Mrs. Ali when you enter the classroom and ask the mentor teacher
(J.Y) how you can help.
J.Y Rm. 39 can help you with any questions about this schedule

8:00-8:20 Morning Duty outside- front of school (corner near YMCA) move
orange cones when sped bus arrives and re-direct cars *Ask for clarification from
safety-patrol students nearby

8:20-9:15 Resource Rm. 39
8:20 S.A will check his schedule on the wall, grab his binder, and work at back
horseshoe table. If he doesnt come, call 2378-7242
He has a token economy board to earn reward for working-Ask him what he
wants to work for? Follow Writing work schedule in binder. Send him back to
class at 8:50
8:15-8:45 F.B also will work on writing-green folder and then clean up and switch to his
red folder at 8:45, He will read his book and then earn a 5 minute ipad break until he
leaves at 9:15
8:30-8:45 J.P and A.B will work in reading red folders. Monitor them, but do not give
them the answers to their work. They go to Specials at 8:45.

9:15-9:30 break

9:30-10:30 4th Reading Mrs. Castecka (Little-long term sub) Rm. 44


Assist Mrs. Little with students (P.P, A.B, B.G, A.K, C.C and M.B)
*B.G and C.C have behavior charts- Please complete them with the tasks they
need to do independently. Before leaving at 10:30-Remind B.G, A.K, and C.C to do
I-ready Math on the laptops. Escort A.B, and S.S, J.P from Klosss class to Resource
room 39.

10:30-11:10 Resource Room 39


F.B will work in his blue folder
*Direct teach A.B, J.P, and S.S with work in their blue math folders. They have
permission to use calculators and math charts. Please read aloud all word problems.

11:10-12:00 4th Language Mrs. Castecka (Little-long term sub) Rm.

B.G and C.C have behavior charts- Please complete them with the tasks they
need to do independently. B.G, A.B, C.C, and A.K have permission to type on
iPad or laptop for written assignments.

12:00-1:10 Lunch / planning

1:10-1:40 4th Reading - Mrs. Amaya Rm. 40


M.T, S.S, and A.B have behavior charts- Please complete them with the tasks
they need to do independently. S.S, J.P, and S.N have permission to use the
Raz Kids app on the Ipads during independent reading time instead of a paper
book.

1:40-2:10 Resource Rm. 39


1:40-2:10 A.B and J.P- work on writing (fill out their graphic organizer) J.P writes
complete sentences using his organizer and word wall, A.B types at computer.
1:40-2:10 Z.M-checks his schedule and does math work in his black binder.
1:50-2:10 S.A will check his schedule on the wall and work at the back kidney
table. All materials are in tubs in shelf unit next to table.
He has a token economy board to earn reward for working-Ask him what he
wants to work for. Follow Math work schedule in black binder.

2:10-2:50 4th Language Rm. 42 LeVrier


M.T, S.S, and A.B have behavior charts- Please complete them with the tasks
they need to do independently. They receive a cowboy cash for each check on
the chart. M.T, A.B, C.C, and J.P have permission to type on iPad or laptops for
any writing assignments.

2:50-3:15 4th Social Studies Rm.42 LeVrier


Assist in class with A.B, M.T, and S.N for organization.
During note-taking, pull J.P and S.S to the back table to do small group
instruction as they are on modified curriculum. Have them review their notes in
their folders/notebooks.

3:30-3:45 Afternoon Duty - monitor students dismissing in the Main


Hallway near kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade.

Thank you for helping today!


Hand out Cowboy Cash for students who follow the behavioral
expectations.

Assist/Monitor students with writing homework in their


assignment notebook and putting homework in their take home
folders in all classes.

Assist students with packing all their supplies and staying


organized to turn their work in prior to transitioning to the next
class.

Please leave a note for me if I need to follow through with


anything a student or teacher requested.
