To Create a Shopping List:


1. On the 'Meals' worksheet, enter the number 1 into column D (labelled 'Select') for each meal you want to include.
2. Click the 'Create Shopping List' button.
3. Switch to the 'Shopping List' worksheet and print it out.
4. Switch back to the 'Meals' worksheet.
5. Click the 'Update' button. (This updates the 'Last Used' date for the selected meals to today's date.)
6. Click the 'Clear' button. (This clears the meal selections in column D.)
7. Click the 'Sort Meals' button. (This moves the most recently used meals to the bottom.)
8. Save the spreadsheet!

To Add a Meal:
1. Insert a new row into the 'Meals' worksheet.
(Tip: Select the row below where you want the new row to be, then right-click and select 'Insert' from the pop-up menu.)
2. Enter the name of the meal in column A. If you want, you can also enter a number for its 'Meal Set' in column B (see add
3. Enter the ingredients needed for the meal by putting the amount of each ingredient in the appropriate column.
4. Click the 'Sort Meals' button. (This will gather together meals in the same 'Meal Set'.)
5. Click the 'Format' button. (This will italicize meals with an even-numbered 'Meal Set'. It just makes it easier to see where

To Remove a Meal:
1. Delete the relevant row from the 'Meals' worksheet. (Select the row, then right-click and select 'Delete' from the pop-up m

To Add an Ingredient:

(Tip: Select the column to the right of where you want the new column to be, then right-click and select 'Insert' from the pop

3. Enter the following formula into row 2, replacing both instances of # with the letter(s) at the top of the column: =SUMPRO
(Tip: An easy way to enter this formula is to copy and paste the formula from an adjacent column in row 2. The formula will

4. Save the spreadsheet!
