Reading We are working in the Fantasy Unit.

During this unit your children

will be learning about what makes a fantasy story as well as greater meanings from
the stories.
Writing We are working in the Fantasy Unit. During this unit your children
are learning how to create good fantasy stories.
Math Chapter 3 Test Monday. Please have your children review the concepts from
Chapter 3 this weekend. Chapter 4 is on Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and
Mixed Numbers.
Social Studies We have been covering concepts such as resources, power, conflict,
violence, and diplomacy all in the context of interactions between groups. Next we
will look at how those interactions affect economies.
French Beginners and Intermediate 1: Student will be learning how to tell time,
ask and answer questions about their daily routines and schedule
