BMS DATA UPLOADING PROCEDURE

Part 1: Bridge Inventory and Condition

1. Open BIC
2. if there are open BIC file, Click Close (Optional)

3. Click Import File, wait until Consolidate Import Files Form appear

4. Click the arrow on Type of Import File and Select one

a. Bridge Inventory
b. Routine Maintenance
c. Major Maintenance

5. Specify the Directory of Import files

6. Specify the Save Import File As (note: default directory of import file is the location of
directory BIC files)

 7. On the Directory content, Choose the all bridge which will be included for the import file
then press the arrow > (if all files, press >>)

8. Click Generate, wait until Message Box appear then click OK

If error occurs, check the bridge ID with problem

Part 2: Confirm Enterprise

1. Log in to Confirm Enterprise with RBIA Live profile

2. Press Ctrl + F, wait until Find Program appear

3. On the Search for, Type Import Data
4. Click Find

5. The import data will be highlighted, then double-click the Import Data and wait until Import
Data Filter Form appear

6. Select Import Transformation Type
a. 40 BIC Feature Import (for *.bif)
b. 42 BIC Inventory (Element) Import (for *.bie)
c. 44 BIC Major Maintenance (for *.bmm)
d. 46 BIC Routine Maintenance (for *.brm)

7. Browse the Import File

8. Change the Files of type into all files (*.*)

9. Click OK
10. Wait then Save
11. If error occurs, Recheck the import File
