NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd. a] NSDL Central Recordkeeping Agency florid Circular Circular No: CRA/PO&RI/Master/2017/001 October 6, 2017 Subject: Availability of Reports in the CRA system for National Pension System (NPS) As you are aware, NPS Dashboard and several other reports which are available in CRA website (www.cra-nsdl.com) provide status of NPS related activities within the Nodal Office as well as underlying offices. These reports also act as a tool for monitoring the performance of the underlying offices. The Dashboard reports - available at two levels i.e, PrAO / DTA level and PAO / DTO level in the CRA system - provide a facility to the Nodal Offices to view/download the details and information related to various activities under NPS such as Subscriber Registration, Contribution Upload, Grievances, exit, inter-sector shifting etc, All these reports have the facility of drilled-down option wherein Nodal Offices can view the status for different activities. In addition to Dashboard, there is an online facility for Nodal Offices to submit request for the specific reports (such as Exception Report-PAO performance, Subscriber Contributions Comparison, Pending Match Contribution Files etc.) as available in the CRA system. Once the request is submitted by the Nodal Office, the report is made available on the next business day as a download in their CRA system login. The list of such reports as well as the Dashboard reports which are available for PrAO / DTA and PAO/DTO is enclosed as Annexure A and Annexure B respectively, The Offices can access these reports in the CRA system through their login credentials. The Nodal Office Users can reset the login credentials (if forgotten / misplaced / available) using following steps: 1 Reset of IPIN by PAO / DTO: There are multiple ways in which a PAO / CDDO / DTO can reset its password i.e. IPIN in the CRA System. The online option (Instant reset of IPIN) allows a PAO / CDDO / DTO to reset its IPIN by initiating an online request in the CRA system which is Subsequently authorised by the respective PrAO / DTA. As part of the process, PAO / CDDO / DTO is required to access ‘Forgot Password! link on CRA system home page (www.ra- nsdl.com) and select ‘Instant Reset IPIN' option. PAO / CDDO / DTO needs to capture the IPIN request & generate acknowledgment. Subsequently, PAO / CDDO / DTO is required to submit the acknowledgement details to PrAO / DTA for authorization. Once the request is authorized by PrAO / DTA, an email confirming the activation of IPIN is sent to the registered email ID as wy, Page 1 of 2 © NSDL ‘Techolgy, Tras each well as alternate email ID provided by PAO / CDDO / DTO (refer to our circular No. CRA/POBRI/PAO/2013/003 dated February 20, 2013 which is enclosed as Annexure C). In addition, the PAO / CDDO / DTO also have an alternative option to submit a written request to CRA. On receipt of request, the new IPIN is printed and pin mailer is despatched to the concerned Nodal Office. Also, IPIN can be reset online by answering secret question in the CRA system if the same is set earlier by the Nodal Office. IL, Reset of IPIN by PrAO / DTA: For the monitoring office, the reset IPIN facility requires the PrAO / DTA to create new IPIN in CRA system - similar to the process mentioned above (for PAOs and DTOs) - and generate acknowledgment for the same. PrAO / DTA is subsequently required to submit the acknowledgment details to CRA to get the request authorized. Once the request is authorized at CRA, an email confirming the activation of IPIN is sent to the registered email ID as well as alternate email ID provided by PrAO / DTA (refer to our circular No. CRA/POR&RI/PrAO/2013/003 dated February 20, 2013 which is enclosed as Annexure D). The PrAO / DTA also have an alternative option to submit a written request to CRA. On receipt of request, the new IPIN is printed and pin mailer is despatched to the concerned Nodal Office. Also, IPIN can be reset online by answering secret question in the CRA system if the same is set earlier by the Nodal Office.
